Boston Celtics beat Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference finalist on Thursday night. Celtics are now 2-0 this postseason. Jaylen Brown was the star of the show. Brown caused enough problems for the Indiana Pacers.
Boston sealed 126-110 victory over Indiana in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals Thursday night. Jaylen Brown matched his playoff career best with 40 points, and proved to be a dominant force against pacers. pacers were helpless in the first half allowing 20-0 run, a lead Boston Celtics utilized for good throughout the game.
Jayson Tatum and Derrick White scored 23 points apiece and Jrue Holiday had 15 points and 10 assists for the top-seeded Celtics, who lost Game 2 in both of their previous series this postseason.
Pascal Siakam scored 28 points for Indiana, which heads home for Games 3 and 4 on Saturday and Monday nights in an arena where they have won 11 straight games – including six in the playoffs – since March 18.
Despite Pascal Siakam played a hot hand in the third quarter leading his team with 28 points and five rebounds. The Pacers had a hard lcuk when Tyrese Haliburton left because of sore left hamstring. Tyrese had 10 points and eight assists before leaving in the third quarter.
The series will continue in Indiana for Saturday’s Game 3 (8:30 p.m. ET, ABC) and Monday’s Game 4 (8 p.m. ET).
