MCC's Associate Degree Nursing program opens applications May 1 and closes June 15, with applications received by June 15 given priority - after that, seats are filled only if the program isn't already at capacity. Because this runs on a competitive point-scoring system (not simple GPA cutoff), a prerequisite grade earned in early May instead of April can still make the priority window; missing it by even a few days can push a qualified applicant to a waitlist-only status for that cohort.

2.5 GPA in prerequisite coursework is the minimum to apply, but MCC uses a competitive scoring breakdown to rank all eligible applicants from highest to lowest and admits only up to a predetermined capacity - meeting the 2.5 minimum only gets a student into the applicant pool, not a seat. A student already LPN-licensed (or willing to exit at that point) should map the bridge track explicitly rather than defaulting to the standard 4-semester ADN pathway, since the bridge track uses different prerequisite and scoring criteria than the traditional entry point.

MCC serves an 11,500-square-mile territory through its Fort Morgan main campus plus four extension centers in Bennett, Burlington, Limon, and Wray, alongside its Test-Out initiative (testing out of a currently-enrolled course via a competency exam).
