NBC was placed on HLC Probation on November 6, 2025 - publicly posted November 12, 2025 - for failure to meet HLC criteria related to financial resources. Probation means accreditation is retained but conditionally: if NBC does not demonstrate corrective action to HLC's satisfaction, accreditation can be withdrawn, which would terminate federal financial aid eligibility and make credits extremely difficult to transfer. NBC's El Programa de Preparaci?n Ministerial (PPM) offers fully asynchronous, Spanish-language ministry formation delivered entirely online.
