RCoN runs three distinct undergraduate BSN pathways with different entry criteria: Fast Track (1 year, no prior degree required, but 3.25+ GPA), Accelerated BSN/ABSN (1 year, requires a non-nursing bachelor's already in hand), and Traditional BSN (18 months, prerequisite-focused). Before applying, map your actual academic history against these three tracks explicitly with an admissions counselor, since applying to the wrong track (e.g., Fast Track without the 3.25 GPA) wastes review time that a correctly-targeted application wouldn't.

RCoN's clinical training runs through a partnership with HCA Midwest Health across six major hospitals, described as the region's largest Dedicated Education Unit (DEU) network - a structural advantage over nursing programs with more limited or rotating clinical placements. When discussing your interest with admissions or in any required essay, reference this DEU model by name and ask which specific HCA Midwest hospital you're likely to train at based on your track, since this shows you understand what actually differentiates RCoN's clinical training model from generic "hands-on clinical experience" language.

RCoN's stated admission policy includes a specific exception: a cumulative college GPA as low as 2.8 will be accepted IF it includes a grade of B? or better in Anatomy & Physiology. If your overall GPA sits below the standard threshold but your A&P grade is strong, make sure this is flagged explicitly in your application materials or admissions conversation - this is a named, specific exception, not a general "we consider the whole applicant" statement, and it's easy for a borderline applicant to miss if they assume a flat GPA cutoff applies uniformly.
