Rolling Admissions at universities and colleges allow students to apply admissions throughout the academic calendar specifically from August 01 to the end of their admission process. Normally the rolling admissions end when the class enrollment is full for the upcoming academic session. Unlike Regular Decisions, Early Action, and Early Decision, rolling admissions does not have a deadline. Hence students can apply within  a specific window of time that usually lasts for 5-7 months.

But for scholarship consideration, some schools do have a deadline for rolling admissions. Most of the schools with scholarship consideration require students to submit the application latest by November 15. Additionally, the requirements for rolling admissions vary from college to college. Hence, you are required to check with the school/college you are applying to get the accurate information about their admission process.

Top universities with rolling admissions start application process from August 1. The finalized admission decision is propagated to the student within 2 months time. Some universities like Penn State University and Michigan State University offer Early Action admission first starting from August 01 and then from December 01 applications are considered as Rolling Admissions.

Although you can apply as late as January 15, but it is still advisable to start the application process latest by September, as the early admission applications can do wonders for you. Additionally, if got rejected, you will still have plenty of time to look for other options.
