What time do AP exam scores come out?

AP Scores start to Come out at exactly 8 AM. AP Score Release date is the time and date when College board start to upload the scores. Not all students receive the score on the same date and time. In the west coast, students have to wait longer than east coast as the scores of the east coast regions are uploaded first.

Do All AP Scores Come out the same day?

No necessarily. Some students may face delay in receiving their AP Exam scores. But majority of the students revive their scores on time. If you have not received your scores by August 15th, you should reach out to AP Services for Students.

How to Check AP scores?

  • You can check your AP Scores on College board official website https://www.collegeboard.org/
  • Make sure that you are able to log in to your College Board account. To do this, you will use your previously selected login credentials.
  • On result day, a notification on top of the college board website will be shown, mentioning that AP Scores are being released, click on the notification and it will take you to the login page.
  • Enter your login credentials, and will after successful login, you will be able to see your AP Scores.
  • Make sure we have your current email address.

If you’ve changed your email address, update it in your account.

Will my previous AP Scores be included in my score report?

Yes, all AP Scores are mentioned in your score report. If you have taken AP Exams in the Past, their scores will be mentioned in the score report and will be sent to your selected colleges, universities and scholarship program. However, you can choose to withhold or cancel your scores. Please make sure that all your AP Scores are mentioned in your report. But if any recent score is missing, please note that some scores take longer to process than others. hence, for the recent exams, you are advised to wait for a few months.

If you notice that exams that you took last year or earlier are missing, it might be because you have multiple accounts. To resolve a multiple account issue, contact AP Services for Students. During score release in July, AP Services for Students will have longer than usual response times. 

If you took your last AP Exam before 2018, your AP scores are no longer viewable in our online score reporting system. 

How do I save a copy of my AP score report?

College Board offers a downloadable version of your score report. You can access this file which is available AP Scores for Students in PDF format. Please note that this copy is only for the students and cannot be regarded as an official copy. If you submit this copy, colleges will not accept it. Colleges and Universities accept only direct official copies from the college board directly. To send an official score report to a college, university, or scholarship program, you’ll need to sign in to AP Scores for Students and order one.

Do I need to save a copy of my AP score report?

No, there is no need to save anything or “print the internet.” Your College Board account will maintain a downloadable version of your school report in PDF format. This can be accessed anytime. However, in most cases, you will need to order an official version of that report when you send the results to a future college for credit consideration.

What browser is best for viewing AP test results?

The College Board recommends using the latest version of Google Chrome or Safari whenever possible. Firefox and Edge will usually work just fine too.

Can I appeal my AP test scores?

You can—but only for the multiple-choice section, which will be rescored by hand. A request for appeal is $30 per exam, and the results of your rescore—whether higher or lower than your original score—are final and cannot be appealed again. Any rescore appeals must be submitted by October 31, 2024.

However, note that you cannot appeal your free-response score. You can request copies of your free-response booklet for $10 per exam, but it will not include any comments or corrections from graders. Want a copy of your booklet anyway? You’ll need to request that by September 15th, 2024.
