ACT 2024 Test Dates and Registration Deadlines
ACT is conducted seven times a year in the United States, US territories, and Puerto Rico. ACT is conducted in February, April, June, July, September and December. Test is conducted normally on Saturday. Non Saturday test dates are also available for those who cannot attend Saturday test due to religious reasons. Following is the schedule of ACT registration deadline and test dates for the year 2024. You can choose the test date which suits you the best, but keep in mind that the test dates should not coincide or be within a month range of your school exams.
You must target a minimum of 26 ACT score for competitive colleges, as it is considered a good score. For Ivy League colleges, your ACT Score must be above 32. So if your score is below this range, you can plan to retake the test according to the following ACT Schedule. If you missed the regular registration deadline for a test date, you can still register by the late registration deadline for an additional fee. Standby test is also available on additional fee if you did not register for the test day by the late registration deadline.
When Do ACT Scores Come Out?
ACT Score are released normally after 2 weeks for multiple choice questions. Scores can take a maximum of 10 weeks after the test date.
