Quincy College Acceptance Rate, GPA, and Admission Requirements

The Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing pulled Quincy's nursing program approval in 2018; it reopened in 2019 under a rebuilt, closely monitored curriculum with capped cohorts (currently 80 ASN and 40 PN seats). That history is why nursing admission here is unusually procedural - strict HESI A2 validity windows, science-course recency rules - compared to Quincy's fully open general admission. This hybrid pathway is specifically for practicing LPNs with an active, unencumbered Massachusetts license, a minimum 2.0 GPA from an approved LPN program, one year of active LPN employment, an employer reference letter, and a qualifying HESI A2 RN score with critical thinking.
