Admission itself is nearly automatic (100% acceptance, rolling, no essay) - the real constraint hits after you're in. First-time college students with no prior postsecondary work are classified "Strong Start" and capped at 9 credits across their first two sessions, plus mandatory completion of ISTU 101. Build your first-term schedule to that cap rather than assuming you can go full course load immediately.

LAPU accepts the CSU GE Certificate, IGETC, and ADT to satisfy general education - but every undergraduate degree, including the BBA, still requires the separate "LAPU Distinctives" (biblical integration coursework) regardless of major or transfer credit. Budget both time and tuition for these courses even if your community college GE work is fully certified.

LAPU requires no admissions tests at all, but you cannot register for college-level math without separate proof of placement - an Intermediate Algebra transcript, or an ACT/SAT math subscore. Submit this to the Registrar during your application window, not after, or your math course registration will be held up mid-session.

Unlike most private Christian universities, LAPU only admits international students through formal institutional partnerships, or those who already qualify for federal student aid with a Social Security number.
