Anatomy & Physiology I (BIO 121) must be completed within 5 years of admission to the nursing program - not within 5 years of application submission or coursework completion in isolation. If your path to nursing includes a multi-year timeline (developmental coursework, part-time enrollment, or a gap before applying), sequence BIO 121 late enough in your plan that it won't expire before your actual admission date, which may land a full application cycle after you take the course.

ECC holds formal BSN articulation agreements with New Jersey City University, Kean University, and Montclair State University specifically (a different set of partners than its general four-year Health Science transfer agreements with Rutgers, NJCU, and Berkeley College). If your goal is a BSN specifically - not just a general bachelor's in a health field - verify you're planning around the nursing-specific articulation partners rather than the broader Health Science partner list, since they're not identical.
