There is no separate application for RU-N to the TOP - eligibility is determined automatically when a student files the FAFSA or the NJ Alternative Financial Aid Application. RU-N's 7-year BA/MD program is a joint degree between the School of Arts and Sciences?Newark and the New Jersey Medical School at Rutgers, designed for high school seniors applying directly from high school. Students complete three years of undergraduate coursework at RU-N and enroll in NJMS in their fourth year. Unlike traditional pre-med pathways where medical school admission is uncertain, this program provides a guaranteed seat at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School provided minimum academic requirements are maintained through the undergraduate years.
