The payoff for going through LCCC specifically is a pathway agreement with ExpressJet: graduates qualify for their Airline Transport Pilot Certificate at 1,250 flight hours instead of the standard FAA minimum of 1,500, because the FAA recognizes LCCC's training as meeting a higher bar. If a student is serious about a professional pilot career, start the FAA student pilot certificate and medical exam process well before enrollment - these are prerequisites to admission into the restricted program, not steps you complete after you're in.

Nursing is a restricted, competitively-filled program, and LCCC explicitly directs interested students to first enroll in the Health Science A.S. program and complete the listed nursing-sequence prerequisites before formally applying - you don't apply to nursing directly out of general admission. The program is delivered across three accredited sites (the Schnecksville main campus, the Donley Center in Allentown, and the Morgan Center in Tamaqua), so confirm which location your specific prerequisite sections and clinical placements will run at before building a semester schedule. Once admitted, the retention bar stays real: students must maintain a minimum 2.20 GPA and earn a C+ or better in every nursing-prefixed course, and only one nursing course with a D or F can be repeated during the entire program.
