Wabash Valley College Acceptance Rate, GPA, and Admission Requirements

The Associate Degree Nursing program is shared across all four Illinois Eastern Community Colleges sites - Frontier, Lincoln Trail, Olney Central, and Wabash Valley. You apply into one shared program but choose the physical location that fits your commute and schedule. Contact the shared IECC Nursing Department directly (not just WVC admissions) to compare clinical rotation sites across the four campuses before deciding where to enroll.

WVC's General Foundation Scholarship applications are due by 4:00 PM on March 15 each year - but Nursing Scholarship applications run on a separate, later deadline of July 31. Nursing-track applicants who submit only by the March date miss dedicated nursing funding; plan to gather your nursing scholarship materials specifically for the summer deadline instead.

The Physical Therapist Assistant program ranks applicants using a composite score built from an IECC-approved placement test plus GPA in specific high school (or college-level support) science, social science, and math courses. Which exact courses count toward that GPA component isn't obvious from the general catalog - request the specific rubric from the PTA program advisor before you sit for the placement test so you know which grades actually matter.
